In the community
St Stephen's is part of the community of South Tonbridge. We welcome everyone to worship with us on Sundays and to join the smaller groups during the week. We also arrange baptisms, thanksgivings, weddings and funerals and have close links with local schools. As part of our service to the local area we support the Children's Workshop (www.childrensworkshop.org.uk).

In the wider world
As well as serving our own community, we're committed to the wider church. We want all people in all parts of the world to have the opportunity to hear the good news of Jesus Christ. That's why we support people going out from St Stephen's to work in the UK or abroad. We also support a number of missionary societies, financially and through personal contact with individuals. At present we specifically support: 
Through our disaster and emergency support fund, we send money to disaster relief appeals. We also use this fund to support members of the church who go on short-term mission projects - students in their gap years, for example.
