Sunday Services

Throughout the month we have a varied programme of family and celebration services, Holy Communion and baptism and thanksgiving services. Most Sundays have three services during the day, as detailed below.

As a fairly informal church, we tend not to follow a liturgy (the set services from the Church of England service book), except for Communion.  All our services are Bible-based.

Time Type of service Details
7.45am   Holy Communion A traditional service using the Book of Common Prayer, without music.
10.30am  Morning worship, Holy Communion or all-age service A more informal, lively service, popular with families. About one service a month includes Holy Communion. The music is led by a small group of musicians and features contemporary worship songs with occasional well-known hymns.  The congregation is invited to stay for coffee after the service.
7:00pm The Evening Service, occasionally with Holy Communion A contemporary service with worship, led by a small band, teaching and ministry.  Multimedia is often used as part of The Evening Service. Refreshments are served before and after this service.
