Parenting Teenagers Course

“By the time we get the hang of parenting, our children have left home!  This course will amuse, motivate, inspire and equip.”  J John

This course runs over six evenings and is open to all parents of teenage or pre-teen children.   If this is you – please join us!

We start at 7.30pm with coffee/tea and cake and then we watch a teaching DVD together.  After a short break, we move into groups to discuss the issues that have come up and to do any set exercises.  We finish by 9.45pm.

The issues that we cover are:

• The Teenage Universe
• Teenage communications
• Teenage character
• Teenage tensions - boundaries and battlefields
• Teenage issues - security, sex and substances
• Teenage pressures - consumerism, cash and cyberspace

The next course is due to run from 6 October to 17 November, with a break in the middle for half-term.

We charge £6.00 per person, but if this is a problem, please do come anyhow as there are funds to help.
