Mark Barker has been vicar of St Stephen's since 2004.  He worked for Barclays Bank in the West End and the City for 12 years before attending St John's theological college in Nottingham.  He was ordained in 1995. Mark's first curacy was at St Margaret's, Barking. He then moved to St Luke's, Cranham, in Essex. Mark is married to Miriam and they have two teenage children, Hannah and Tom.

  Sheila Perkins is our curate and lives in Speldhurst where her husband, John, is also a member of the clergy. Sheila was ordained in 2007 and her priesting took place in June 2008. She's committed to reaching the community through acts of service.

 Jim and Vicky Prestwood are the youth pastor and children’s pastor respectively. Both from Yorkshire (someone has to be!), they head the team responsible for youth and children’s ministry, both in the church and in the local community. Jim is currently studying to be a vicar and goes to university every Monday. He's particularly interested in reaching out to young people in alternative and new ways. They have 2 daughters, Erin and Felicity.  Vicky is currently on Maternity leave after the birth of Felicity.

Rhiannon Ravenscroft is currently heading up the families and children's work while Vicky is on maternity leave.  Prior to taking up the post Rhiannon was a primary school teacher in Suffolk, though she was previously from this area. You can contact Rhiannon at rhiannon.ravenscroft@ststephenstonbridge.org.

David Wake has been Director of Operations since May 2008. His role is to make sure that everything (literally!) runs smoothly in the administration of our parish. David and his wife, Carol, moved to Tonbridge in 2005 after his previous job as a senior executive in the defence industry.

The list would not be complete without our churchwardensWendy Fenn and Rowland Wills. They carry extensive responsibilities in St Stephen’s church but you'll usually find them at the entrance to St Stephens on Sundays.
